Tokenized-equity registry

A token that tracks a price is not the same thing as the share.

For every covered underlying we publish two lists: the fields we verified — against a named public endpoint read at a named instant, or a named issuer document read on a named date with the passage quoted — and the fields nobody can verify at all, each with the document that would settle it. The second list is the point.

Who may hold these wrappers

One field, eligibility.investorEligibility, read off each wrapper for every covered underlying, as of 2026-07-30T18:40:05.196Z. Where an issuer document states the restriction, the passage is quoted; where none of the documents read states it, the row is Unknown and names the document that would settle it. The wrappers are answered separately: there is no combined verdict, and this page does not know where you are.

Resolves via: Which jurisdictions and investor categories are permitted to acquire, hold, or transfer the token. Half of this is now answered: see eligibility.investorCategory. The jurisdiction half is not. Reviewed the Robinhood Europe PRIIPs Key Information Document (1 July 2026), the Description of Services, Financial Instruments and Risks (from 1 July 2026), and the Robinhood Terms & Conditions (document id 20250822-4767855-15024375) on 2026-07-31 — none of the three enumerates the countries in which Stock Tokens may be offered, held, or transferred, and none states a US-person restriction for this product. Attempted the Stock Tokens terms and conditions at cdn.robinhood.com on 2026-07-31 — HTTP 403, unavailable. Would require the Robinhood Europe Stock Token customer agreement.

Same answer on all 5 covered underlyings: NVDA, AAPL, TSLA, MSFT, CRWD.

Excluded outright: US persons and any US address, jurisdictions where distribution would be unlawful (the prospectus names North Korea, Syria and Iran), and FATF call-for-action jurisdictions. Permitted distribution rests on the FMA Liechtenstein approval notified into 29 named EEA states. Investor category is narrowed too: under Jersey's SPB Order the Products may be issued only to a Professional Investor or to someone who has acknowledged the SPB Order investment warning, and subscription or redemption with the issuer requires passing KYC/AML.

Same answer on all 5 covered underlyings: NVDA, AAPL, TSLA, MSFT, CRWD.

Each underlying’s card carries the same six questions side by side, one column per wrapper — legal rights, redemption, eligibility, insolvency, fees, and secondary-market depth. Start with the NVDA side-by-side comparison, or open the same six questions across every covered symbol.

Field counts are per underlying and cover every wrapper listed for it. A high unknown count is a finding, not a gap in the data.

Method

  • Robinhood Chain Stock Token API

Three public, unauthenticated endpoints are read once per snapshot: GET https://api.robinhood.com/rhj/assets, GET https://api.robinhood.com/rhj/prices/{symbol}, and GET https://api.robinhood.com/rhj/corporate-actions. GET only. This site holds no wallet, places no order, and signs nothing.

  • Dated snapshot, not a live feed

EquityLayer builds statically, so the reading happens in scripts/refresh-tokenized.mjs and is committed to data/tokenized/robinhood-2026-07-31.json. Quotes move; this page does not. Every number here is as of 2026-07-30T18:40:05.196Z and nothing later. Re-running the script writes a new dated file, so snapshots can be diffed.

  • Registry check against fake same-ticker tokens

The full whitelist was enumerated: 96 assets, no ticker carried by more than one asset, deployed on chain id 4663. A look-alike token reusing a ticker does not appear in the registry, so each card binds its ticker to an asset id and a contract address rather than to a name.

  • Two states only

Every field is Verified — with the endpoint that produced it and the time it was read — or Unknown, with the document that would resolve it. A field with no citable source is Unknown even when the answer seems obvious.

What no price API can answer

  • Token-holder legal rights

What claim, if any, a token holder holds against the issuer or the underlying shares, and whether voting, proxy, or other shareholder rights pass through to the holder.

  • Redemption for underlying shares

Whether a holder can redeem the token for the underlying share, on what terms, at whose discretion, and with what notice period.

  • Country and investor eligibility

Which jurisdictions and investor categories are permitted to acquire, hold, or transfer the token.

  • Bankruptcy treatment

How the underlying shares are held and segregated, and where token holders rank if the issuer, venue, or custodian becomes insolvent.

  • Venue fees

Mint, burn, spread, custody, transfer, and corporate-action handling fees charged by the venue or issuer.

  • True secondary-market depth

Resting order-book depth and realised secondary transfer volume, beyond the single top-of-book bid/ask the price endpoint returns.

These six are carried on every wrapper in the registry, live adapter or not. They are the questions a buyer actually needs answered, and they are settled by issuer documents — a prospectus, Final Terms, a Key Information Document — never by market data. A row here turns Verified only when someone has read the document and copied out the passage, with its section and the date it was read. Everything still Unknown says which document would close it. Read how EquityLayer commits to dated, checkable statements in the claim ledger.
